I'd Like a Side of Cardboard with that, Please

I opened the frozen vegetables. I dumped them out. And I found this:
That is a huge chunk of cardboard! CARD.BOARD. Since when is that a stew vegetable?!

And, psssst... I totally put these vegetables in the stew and fed it to my family. Surely any cooties were killed by the freezing and subsequent boiling. It's not like it was a big chunk of anthrax or anything...

I am sure it was organic cardboard. Right?

i don't think there were any pesticides used in the creation of it. so... YES!

you ARE funny at 3am! i'm more grossed out by the bottle cap than i am by the cardboard - it's a little weird that i'm selective in my acceptance of foreign bodies in my prepackaged food...
At first I thought maybe it was a hardened piece of sauce that you can sometimes get with mixed veggies. But cardboard?! Get your money back, girl! My husband stopped eating at an Applebee's after I got a piece of corrugated cardboard in my quesadillas. The visit before I found a hair. Shoulda stopped then.

i really do feel that you should have learned from the hair and, therefore, have no one to blame for the cardboard but yourself.

p.s. ewwww. on BOTH counts!

so VERY random! it makes me want to go watch the frozen vegetable production line and see just where corrugated cardboard comes into play in the process.
