JOHN "CARTER"!!

I had a lot of things to tell you about our road trip across the state; how much fun we had with our family; a few pictures to show you; etc., etc., etc...

Then.

Someone else decided he would like to take center stage. The. day. after we left. Who should decide to arrive? My brother, Mike and sister-in-law, Heather's baby boy!

(My sister, Brandy, summed it up perfectly: "Can you even believe how Heather [cheated] you out of meeting Carter!?!" Seriously, Heather. I thought we were friends. ;)

Anyhoo.

Ya'll? I know I'm biased. But, that is a beautiful baby.

OMG, Carter! What a beautiful boy. He's Gerber model material. Totally. Oh, and I'm guessing you put "cheated" in brackets up there because that wasn't the word your sister really used, right? Just guessing. Sorry you missed everything, but you do need to lay some blame on your SIL. She couldn't wait til you got back? Geesh. Some people.

p.s. That April post with the picture of y'all? Wow. Every single one of you is gorgeous. Do you know how hard it is to get that many people in one family lookin' so good? No wonder Carter looks like a hottie already.

"cheated" isn't EXACTLY the word she used. she did only say "screwed" - but, even THAT seemed a little off-colored on a post about an innocent little baby! :)

and, i think my SIL was being COMPLETELY thoughtless. i mean elephants carry their babies for 20 months or something. rude.

you're too kind about the april picture. but, don't worry - we may clean up well, but we still don't know how to act... ;)
